Here is my box - which I absolutely love. Scored on ebay from an awesome Japanese seller, along with some of my onigiri and egg molds, and some other awesome stuff.
And here is it all open
(I have such cruddy lighting at my desk. I need to find a better location for future pictures.
Horizontal Box: Onigiri, heart-shaped with a matching piece of nori. Inside is some leftover spicy miso teriyaki chicken that I tossed into my magic bullet with horseradish mayo and some green olive, formed into balls and rolled in toasted sesame seeds. Sounds kind of squicky, I guess but it was wonderful considering it was inspired by a lack of variety :D. Baby corn and some home-made ramen.
Crooked Box: Metallic cupcake liner w/Raspberries and Blueberries, leftover teriyaki chicken and a heart-shaped egg.
It was YuM!

Dragonflies! Holy hell that stuff is cool. What the heck is ‘onigiri’.. I’ve heard of ‘nigiri’ which is usually a little pad of rice with something on top, like raw fish or shrimp. I love the heart egg.
I got your email, I’ll respond tonight when Gabe gets home and takes the baby. Love you.
