Okay, maybe not The Best of the Web, but sites I like and think you all might like, too!

My husband created this website when he was 18, and wanted a place to store his poems, and allow some friends and family to submit theirs as well. It unexpectedly grew as others found the site and submitted their own poems and has been going strong with new poems submitted weekly by it’s loyal users. We are in the middle of a MAJOR overhaul of the site, which will feature a modern, updated look, more features and the site will be more user-friendly overall.

SparkPeople
SparkPeople’s mission is to help millions of people be healthy and reach their goals. They offer easy to use diet and fitness tools and services that people pay for on sites like Weight Watchers and eDiets.com, but 100% FREE - and in my opinion far superior to both websites, and believe me, I have tried it all. The community at SparkPeople is also WONDERFUL compared to WW and eDiets, and very supportive.

Neopets®
Neopets.com® is an interactive Virtual Pet site and community where users can create and care for up to four pets, play games and chat with other players. Though many would say Neopets® is for the kids, it really is an all-ages website and plenty of adult players can be found in various places and guilds. If anything, it’s a fun time-sink!

Pogo.com
Pogo is a rather large, and incredibly fun gaming site, also another awesome time-sink. The site is free and has plenty of free games, but you can also sign up for ClubPogo (email me for a referral) and participate in Badge Challenges, dress up an avatar and get access to many, many more games. (Worth the ClubPogo price, IMO)

Scattered-Zen
We are a user-built and run community focused on alternative living, featuring a Forum, Links Database, User Submitted Articles, a Marketplace and much more. Scattered-Zen is temporarily closed, but check back soon.
